You must cut a round cake into 8 equally sized pieces. You can only cut 3 times. How do you cut the cake to make the equally sized pieces?

Cut the cake twice along the diameter. This will give you 4 pieces (quarters). Now cut the cake horizontally in between. This will give you 8 pieces.
